Chaitra Garrick
Associate
Chaitra Garrick is an associate attorney at Kershaw Anderson King, PLLC. Chaitra graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington with a BFA in Fine Art. While there, she was a University Scholar and a member of Alpha Xi. She went on to earn an MFA at Florida International University, then returned to Texas to teach art for more than a decade.
Chaitra graduated cum laude from UNT Dallas College of Law in 2025. During her time in law school, she won several awards for her writing, including “Best Brief” in the Thomas Coburn Moot Court Competition and two Cali awards in writing-focused courses. She also served as the treasurer of the American Constitution Society for two years and remains a member of Phi Delta Phi.
Chaitra has been admitted to the Texas bar and is an active member of the Dallas Bar Association and the Royal Fergusen Inn. In her free time, she makes art, enjoys reading and doing crossword puzzles, and lounges with her three cats, Crunchies, Mimzy, and Sassafras.
