Kate Atwood

Kate Atwood is an associate attorney at Kershaw Anderson King, PLLC. Kate graduated magna cum laude from the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Political Science and Communications and a minor in Women and Gender Studies.
Kate later earned her J.D. from Baylor University School of Law in 2024. Before and during law school, she worked in the Texas House of Representatives during both the 88th and 89th Legislative Sessions, serving as a legal liaison and as the reading clerk in the 89th Session.
Kate was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2025 and is an active member of the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. In her free time, Kate enjoys spending time with her miniature dachshund, relaxing with family at the lake in Austin, and following all things pop culture and high fashion.
